Two spaces. One way of looking at contemporary art.
MICHELS DE CHAMPOURCIN was born from a simple conviction: that contemporary art deserves the same rigour, the same standards and the same closeness to the collector as any other form of heritage. We have built a collection that now brings together some twenty artists, across painting, sculpture and photography, guided by a criterion that seeks not trend but permanence. Every work that enters the gallery has been chosen for its capacity to hold the gaze beyond the first impression — the same standard with which, generation after generation, a legacy is built.
Madrid
Paseo de la Castellana
On Paseo de la Castellana, in the financial and cultural heart of the city, our main space displays the collection in a setting designed for contemplation: controlled light, generous proportions, and the work always as the absolute protagonist.

Marbella
The Pool Marbella
At The Pool Marbella, inside El Corte Inglés El Capricho, the gallery moves south with the same curatorial standards, in a more intimate format that invites collectors to pause, ask questions and discover.

Ernestina de
Champourcin
Before there was a gallery, there was a voice. Ernestina de Champourcin was born in Vitoria in 1905 and became one of the great poets of the Generación del 27, part of the singular circle known as Las Sinsombrero. A disciple of Juan Ramón Jiménez, she lived the avant-garde from Madrid's Lyceum Club Femenino, and after the Civil War crossed the ocean into exile in Mexico, where words became her way of holding on to the memory of what she had left behind. From her we inherit this name — and with it, her way of looking inward without ever stopping to look forward.
